How You Can Help

  1. Pray
  2. Become a monthly financial partner – Some of our ongoing programs are not yet fully funded. Monthly gifts in any amount toward these needs are greatly appreciated!
    1. Feeding program partners – current gap is $300/month
    2. Missionary stipend for our Ugandan volunteers – Our Ugandan volunteers work with us full-time and this stipend goes towards their living expenses ($150/month per volunteer) – current gap is $450/month
    3. Hospital ministry and meeting medical needs – current gap is $500/month
    4. St. Maria Goret school partnership – current gap is $150/month
  3. Support new initiatives
    1. Sponsor a single mom to learn a vocational skill (one-year commitment desired) – $100-$150/month
    2. Sponsor a weekly Bible study (cost covers books and food for participants) – $75/month
    3. Community outreach
      1. “Extreme home makeovers” – costs for identified needs range from $200-$1,500
      2. Providing water filters ($7), beds ($130 for a triple bunk bed); mattresses (range from $25 for twin to $45 for double); blanket, pillow and set of sheets for twin bed ($16); mosquito net for twin bed ($4)
  4. Sponsor a child – $40/month
  5. Two laptops for ministry use (gently used is fine). Need to be able to access internet and email and run Word, Excel and Quickbooks.
  6. Offer your time and talent! Any of the following skills would help – bookkeeping, website management, social media, marketing materials, and selling crafts, either on the internet, at craft fairs, and/or by placement in retail locations, such as consignment, craft, or coffee shops. Even just liking our posts on Facebook and sharing them helps! If you don’t do social media, maybe you can help connect us to churches, small groups, and Sunday school classes that might allow us to share what God is doing in Uganda, and where we can invite people to participate as they are led.
  7. BIG dreams
    1. The old ministry car that was bought several years ago has just about breathed its last. With team members frequently going in different directions, and children to be transported, the ministry needs a reliable van. This van will help transport supplies, allow staff to take children to medical and dental appointments, gather food for the feeding program, get to and from school, take boarding students home and pick them up each term, and ease the overall tension of keeping a daily schedule. A reliable, used Toyota van that will seat 10 is estimated to cost $10,000. We have a campaign going on now. Join us!
    2. We hope to be able to help build the foundation and first floor walls of a Sunday school building for the church we partner with in Bulenga. Each week, over 200 children gather to learn the word of God and have a nutritious meal provided by Cruciform. Currently, the children meet under a tent over bare ground that turns thick with red clay mud during the rains. The church already has land to build a Sunday school building beside the church and now building funds are needed. Phase One will pour the foundation and build the first floor walls. This will enable us to move the white tent onto a floor to get the children off the ground as rainy season continues. We also envision that during the week, the building would serve as a community center offering a location for vocational skills classes, Bible study classes, and activities to provide educational opportunities to the community. The need is $5,000 and our campaign is going on now! Join us!
    3. Buy land and build a school in Bulenga. While this is a large project, we believe this would allow us to holistically meet many needs of each child and impact the next generation.
